S2, E1: Frank Jones and the Youth Soccer Referee Pool

Referee, mentor, and assignor, Frank Jones, joins the show to speak on the status of the youth soccer referee pool, what could be causing a decline in numbers, and what the impact of all of this means to clubs that rely on referees for tournaments and league play. 

Growing up playing soccer, Frank had a passion for the game that lasted into his thirties. As life took over Frank’s presence around the game declined until his daughter started playing in 2010. From there a passion of soccer, and a simple need to kill time on the weekends, blossomed into an integral role for the youth soccer referee community.
