We love Futsal at Snap Soccer!
IN 2016 Snap Soccer started its brand new futsal series of event. Now we run three events annually and have teams attend from AL, GA, LA, MS, FL and more. These events are open to city teams, club teams, high school and middle school teams.

Since these games are small-sided (5v5) we encourage players to create their own team to compete in these events. While most of the time we see teams enter that were created from existing club teams, we see multiple teams enter each even that are a mix of players from different areas. We suggest that because these events are flexible, you do not have to enter with the teams that you play with throughout the season.
The most frequent question we get is…
“My son/daughter want’s to play in the futsal event, how do we go about this?”
Easy! You get to work recruiting, either from your current team or friends. Whichever you find easiest, and whoever you think would have the most interest in playing.
Here’s a quick email template to send to a parent of a potential player:
“Hey, xxxxx!
Hope you’re doing great. We are thinking about putting together a team for Snap Soccer’s next Futsal Event. Would xxxx be interested in playing on our team?
The cost is ($275 divided by however many players we have on the team (max of 10)) per player. Let me know if you’re interested. We will play at the Foley Sports Tourism Complex right next to the OWA Theme Park. We will have a minimum of 4 games on this date: [enter date]. It should be a fun day and great for the player’s development!

So now you have your team, what next?
You go to the corresponding SINC page for the event (you can find them at the top and bottom of this article), click the register tab, and get to work!
If you don’t have a SINC account, it’s very easy to create one and will take you less than five minutes to complete the whole process.
Once you are logged in, you will be able to register. From there you will choose to either create a new team (recommended) or choose a team already created.
If you choose a new team, the system will prompt you to associate yourself with a club. You can either create a new club or pick a club you play with during the year. From there you will have to fill out a little information (contacts, request, competitive level, etc.) and decide how you’d like to pay.
Anyone can coach your team, including:
- A Parent
- An Aunt/Uncle
- A Brother/Sister
- An Actual Coach
For team uniforms, all we require is that your team is wearing the same shirt/jersey (similar color at least). You can create custom shirts or jerseys or wear your club jerseys- either is fine!
