Campers, hikers, bikers and nature-lovers alike will love Chewacla State Park. Whether you’re looking to hike through the park’s many trails or simply relax in the beautiful surroundings, this is a great place to start your adventure.

What makes Chewacla State Park so great? There are tons of well-maintained hike and bike paths throughout the park that offer a variety of options for all skill levels. Plus, there are several different types of wildlife in the area! You might see deer, foxes, or even wild turkeys during your hike here! If you’re not into hiking or want something more relaxing than an active hike, then Chewacla State Park also has impressive stone and log cabins and campsites available for rent during certain times throughout the year (for example: call ahead if planning an overnight trip). Campers can enjoy their stay in one of these historic cabins that are fully furnished and offer modern conveniences like WiFi access while still being surrounded by nature at every turn (including nearby streams).

Jules Collins Smith Museum of Fine Arts

This museum is located on the Auburn University campus, and it’s filled with a wide variety of art. You can spend hours looking at the variety of pieces they have on display!

The children’s gallery is also fun to explore. They offer activities for families with kids, such as storytelling and music performances. The gift shop has a nice selection of art supplies, jewelry, toys and books.

Toomer’s Drugs

If you’re interested in seeing a long-standing store that has been open since 1896, then Toomer’s Drugs is the place for you. It’s located on College Street, which is also where Auburn University is located. You can get Toomer’s Corner souvenirs at the store. And don’t forget to try their fresh squeezed lemonade. So if you are looking for something to do while visiting Auburn then be sure to stop by this historic pharmacy!

Auburn Raptor Center

The Auburn Raptor Center is adjacent to Auburn Univesity campus and is easy to visit and has an exciting variety of eagles, hawks, owls and other interesting birds. The Auburn Raptor Center, a division of the College of Veterinary Medicine, is a rehabilitation and education facility providing critical education, rehabilitation and conservation efforts for raptors. The Auburn Raptor Center is only open to the public for scheduled presentations but with a little planning, you can make this a memorable experience for the whole team.
